Top 10 Most Valuable Celebrity NFT Portfolios in December

As 2021 draws to a close, it’s time to look at the top 10 most valuable celebrity NFT portfolios for December. While the end of the year brought some turbulence to ETH pricing, resulting in fluctuations in portfolio valuations, celebrities continued amassing NFT fortunes.

In December, we see Gary Vee still dominates the top 10, even though his NFT portfolio took a significant hit in terms of total value, dropping to about $49 million. Second up we have rapper Snoop Dogg, who is trying to catch up to Gary Vee with about $14 million in NFTs in his Medici vault.

Similar to last month, most of the wallets in this list contain NFTs worth well over half a million dollars. Scroll down to see the complete list, and who managed to climb up the ranks in the past thirty days.

An important note here is that celebrities attract a lot of attention to their wallets and receive thousands of NFTs as gifts. We have manually sifted through all of these celebrity wallets to bring readers a more filtered view. For that to happen, we’ve excluded NFTs that are gifted to these wallets. Consider this if you see discrepancies between this list and the values displayed on the DappRadar Portfolio Tracker.

New Year’s resolutions

December’s top 10 rich list is not too different from what we saw in November. However, Logan Paul made a stellar entry right at the top. He ranks third by acquiring close to 3000 NFTs in November, boosting his portfolio value to almost $4 million.

As Logan Paul made a splash, several celebrities saw their portfolios drop in the ranking compared to November. Steve Aoki, for example, boosted the value of his NFT portfolio by $760.000 in the past month. However, he now ranks fifth, dropping one place from his ranking in November. The same goes for Post Malone who shuffled up the chart last month. He now ranks sixth, with a portfolio worth $618.840.

Beeple and Mark Cuban managed to keep their positions at ninth and tenth place respectively. In the past month, Beeple pushed hard, acquiring 351 new NFTs and boosting his portfolio value by more than $50.000. Despite the push, however, he remains in the tail end of the ranking as 2021 comes to a close.

NFTs were definitely one of the biggest crypto topics in 2021. As more collections started gaining prominence, celebrities caught on with the hype and started joining the space. As the year is coming to an end, we’re now shifting our future to the new year in anticipation of even greater strides forwards for the NFT space. Stay tuned as we continue to explore celebrity involvement in the NFT space in 2022.
