If you are a fan of Wordle, the global word-guessing game that took the world by storm in 2020 and 2021, BINANCE is offering a similar game on its platform, Binance Word of The Day, which can be played on the Binance mobile app and the website app. Announced early this week, Binance Word of The Day is a word-guessing game that allows players to prove their metal in their knowledge of the crypto industry.
Simply, users have six tries to guess the ‘word of the day’, a unique word chosen daily, to win the game. Each day, a new word will be chosen, and players will have to guess the word, using clues. As it is a crypto game, the words will revolve around the crypto ecosystem and will be grouped into different weekly themes to give a clue of what the word could be. Some of the themes included in the past in the Binance Word of The Day guessing game include CR7, Binance Gift Card, and the Metaverse.
Understanding and playing the game
So how exactly do you play the Binance Word of the Day? The gameplay is similar to Wordle, as explained before. Once on the page, type in a guess for your first word using the hint given. If the player guesses correctly, they have won the game on the first try. However, if you get it wrong the first time, you will be prompted to enter a second guess.
The colours of the tiles guessed wrong will also change according to your guess. The green tiles will show that the letter is part of the word of the day and in the correct position, while the yellow tiles signify the letter is in the word of the day but not in the right position. Black tiles, on the other hand, show that the letter is not in the word of the day.
