Since the beginning of the year, the number of installed cryptocurrency ATMs has increased by more than 83%, according to Coin ATM Radar.
As of now(10 November 2020), the number of devices has reached 11,760, and on January 1, 2020, there were 6,372 and New crypto-ATMs are now being installed at rates above 24 per day.
Most of the working devices are located in the United States - 9253 or 79.2% of the total number in the world. 892 (7.6%) crypto-ATMs are installed in Canada, which is slightly less than in the whole of Europe - 1257 (10.8%), with the UK leading with 292 crypto-ATMs (2.3%). In total, they are installed in 70 countries around the world.
Genesis Coin and General Bytes dominate as device manufacturers with 36% and 29.5% market share, respectively.
Top 10 of the leading operators manage more than half of the operating crypto - ATMs (54.5%). The first three - Coinflip, Bitcoin Depot and CoinCloud - share almost 10% of the total.
The German financial regulator has set rules for ATM operators for cryptocurrencies. Despite the confiscation of 17 devices installed by the Shitcoins Club, their number in the country is growing and has already reached 37.
