Personal Income Tax

Personal income tax is a tax levied on the income earned by individuals, such as salaries, wages, bonuses, commissions, and investment income. It is usually paid to the government by individuals on a yearly basis, and the rate of taxation is determined by the government of the country in which the individual resides or earns their income.

The tax rate can vary depending on the amount of income earned, with higher-income individuals generally paying a higher tax rate. The revenue generated from personal income tax is used by governments to fund public services and infrastructure, such as education, healthcare, and transportation.

Sales Tax

Sales tax is a tax on the purchase of goods and services. It is usually a percentage of the price of the item being sold, and is paid by the consumer at the time of purchase.

The revenue generated from sales tax is used by governments to fund public services and infrastructure, such as schools, hospitals, roads, and public transportation. Sales tax can be an important source of revenue for governments, particularly in countries where income tax is relatively low or non-existent.

However, high rates of sales tax can also be seen as regressive, as they may place a greater burden on low-income earners who have to spend a larger proportion of their income on goods and services.

The rate of sales tax can vary depending on the country, state or province, and sometimes even by the type of item being sold.

Corporate Tax

Corporate tax is a tax levied on the profits earned by companies and corporations. The tax is typically based on the income earned by the company, after deducting business expenses, depreciation, and other allowable deductions.
